Please join the Oregon State Bar Health Law Section on Thursday, April 20, 2023, for an in-person afternoon CLE on the results of a recent State of Healthcare in the Pacific Northwest Survey conducted by Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, PC, in conjunction with Portland Business Journal and Puget Sound Business Journal and a discussion of issues identified in the survey of which all Oregon healthcare attorneys should be aware. This 1 hour roundtable CLE will be led by Schwabe attorneys Kelly Riggs, Jon French, and Gary Bruce. The CLE discussion will begin at 3:30, and will be followed by a reception at 4:30, hosted by Schwabe.
Few industries have faced the number of challenges that healthcare has faced over the past several years. As the industry continues to make rapid-fire changes and adjust to new realities post-pandemic, Schwabe wanted to better understand the experiences and concerns of healthcare executives, employees, and patients, and recently conducted a survey on the state of healthcare in the Pacific Northwest. The results from over 600 respondents are now in, and Schwabe’s State of Healthcare in the Pacific Northwest report offers an in-depth look at what’s top-of-mind in the industry today, where there are opportunities to grow and evolve, and how the industry is thinking about overcoming some of its toughest challenges.
Schwabe attorneys Kelly Riggs, Jon French, and Gary Bruce are looking forward to sharing the results of the survey with the Section, and leading a discussion about some of the key legal considerations and implications affecting the work we do as healthcare attorneys as we move forward in the post-pandemic world. Questions and participation in the discussion by all participants will be encouraged.
This is an in-person only event, as we are excited to bring the group back together again and would like encourage active participation in the discussion.
