Health Law 101 CLE Lunch Series: Medical Staff Boot Camp

The OSB Health Law Oregon is pleased to announce the third installment of its Health Law 101 CLE Lunch Series, at noon on the third Thursday each month from February through September.

• Topic:  Medical Staff Boot Camp
• Speaker: Miriam Swedlow, Davis Wright Tremaine LLP
• Overview: This presentation will provide background on why hospitals must have an organized medical staff and a brief overview of their structure. It will also discuss two key responsibilities of the medical staff, credentialing and peer review, and explore ways to avoid legal risks when carrying out these functions.
• Location:  Virtual and In-Person at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP (560 SW 10th Avenue, Suite 700, Portland, OR 97205)

Cancellations received by the CLE Service Center at least 48 hours prior to the event date will be refunded the registration fee minus a $5 administrative fee; requests received after that time are granted at the discretion of the section.
